The Wells Suite caters for people paying for their own treatment, or those with private medical cover from all major insurance companies.

Self-funding patients

If you are paying the hospital’s account yourself, the following methods of payment are accepted:

  • Cheques
  • BACS transfer
  • Bankers’ draft
  • Diners
  • MasterCard
  • Access
  • Visa
  • Switch
  • Delta Cards

Please call us to arrange payment. Please note it is the hospital’s policy to request full payment in advance for all packages and specially priced procedures.  A partial payment is required when the cost of the treatment cannot be ascertained in advance.

Insured Patients

The Wells Suite is approved by most insurance companies for inpatient and day case treatments. Your hospital account will be sent directly to your insurers, who, on receipt of a valid claim form, will reimburse the hospital within the limits of your particular policy.

Please ensure that you complete your claim form accurately and ask your Consultant to provide his/her procedure code and signature.

Embassy Patients

If you are being sponsored by an Embassy, which has direct settlement arrangements with the hospital, please obtain a letter of guarantee from the relevant Embassy and bring it with you to the hospital on the day of your admission.

Patient Extras

Accounts for items not covered by health insurance, eg. sundries, visitors meals, must be settled at the time of departure.
