Graduated from the Royal London Hospital Medical College in 1994. Following completion of Basic Surgical Training, became Knee Research Fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Presented and published numerous research papers and won prizes in the fields of Cartilage Transplantation, Hip & Knee Arthroplasty and Bone Tumour Surgery.
Completed Specialist Registrar training on the South East Thames rotation and developed sub-specialty interests in hip and knee surgery, undertaking Fellowships on the Knee Unit at Guy’s Hospital and the Joint Reconstruction & Bone Tumour Unit at Stanmore.
Currently a Royal College of Surgeons e-Learning Module Editor and Royal Society of Medicine Orthopaedic Section Council Member. Since Consultant appointment, has become Clinical Lead for hip fractures, Enhancing Quality Lead for hips and knees, Specialty Tutor in Trauma & Orthopaedics and Deputy Surgical Tutor for the Trust.
