Professor Dib Datta completed his undergraduate medical degree from Calcutta University, India in 1988 and in 1991 his MD. In 1994 he became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG); and the Royal College of Physicians (RCP). He is enthusiastic about limiting risk in the discipline.
He sits on several local, regional and national bodies empowering education, safeguarding training and enhancing service quality in obstetrics and gynaecology. He is a Council member, & a trustee of the RCOG. Professional memberships held by Mr Datta include: RCOG, Hospital Consultants & Specialists Association (HCSA), RCP, and General Medical Council (GMC).
